UK’s leading independent provider of NHS staff bank management announces new partnership with Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Bank Partners is excited to announce they will be partnering with Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust to run the Trust’s temporary Staff Bank.

Bank Partners, operating as BHRUT Staff Bank through a dedicated team based on-site, will be managing the Trust’s flexible working arrangements for Nurses, Doctors, AHP and Admin and Clerical staff groups. The full service will launch officially on 1st October 2022.

Bank Partners has more than 20 years’ experience of providing this service and a strong reputation for reducing overall agency usage and spend. Comparing 2017 to 2016, they helped like-for-like NHS trusts reduce their agency spend by £32 million.

Francine Currie, Chief Operating Officer for Bank Partners said “Bank Partners is delighted to welcome Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust to our family of trusts. We look forward to working closely with them to help them achieve their goals and improve patient safety through continuity of care. This partnership will allow us to provide the Trust with staff they can feel confident in thanks to our experienced teams and high-quality compliance.”

Alan Wishart, Director of Workforce at the Trust added: “As we continue to recover from Covid-19, we’re proud of how hard our teams have been working to reduce the time our patients wait to get the treatment they need. As part of our continued dedication to innovation and change we are delighted to be working with Bank Partners to deploy a robust and flexible temporary workforce where needed to support our many services. We look forward to building a strong partnership with them over the coming years.”
