Bank Partners named Recruitment Services Provider of the Year

We’re very proud to announce that we have been awarded Recruitment Services Provider at the inaugural HSJ Partnership Awards for our work with Barts Health NHS Trust to reduce agency spend at the Royal London Hospital.

The awards recognise the outstanding work that organisations are doing in partnership with the NHS and celebrate the significant contribution made to the NHS by its top suppliers. There was fierce competition with over 100 entries, and from those 12 deserving winners were decided by an expert panel of judges.

These comprised 48 senior NHS figures, including NHS England director for acute care Keith Willett, Tower Hamlets Clinical Commissioning Group chair Sir Sam Everington and Keith Ridge, the NHS’s chief pharmaceutical officer.

The judges said: “‘This partnership demonstrated true joint working and collaboration with measurable improvements in terms of both finance and workforce.”

At Bank Partners, we’re passionate about forming long-lasting partnerships that go beyond short-term solutions to unfilled shifts. This collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, so it’s a real pleasure to have this recognised in the Health Service Journal Partnership Awards.

Alastair McLellan, Editor of the HSJ commented: “The innovation displayed by our winners and finalists is impressive. It is also, of course, vital to the service’s sustainability and future. Faced with seemingly impossible efficiency targets, and having made every possible economy, NHS organisations need their expertise to maintain service quality within an ever-tightening budget. There is also little chance of the Five Year Forward View becoming reality without advances developed by commercial suppliers becoming an integral part of the NHS operating model. The companies we celebrate are those that have accepted the challenge to help the NHS deliver during a period of intense pressure.”

This award is welcome recognition for the fantastic work of our teams across Bank Partners, and a testament to the importance of strong collaboration, innovative leadership, and patient-focused approaches. Our teams’ commitment to ensuring we achieve the highest standards of patient care through innovation and hard work is something we are incredibly proud of, and something we will continue to deliver.

As a registered Bank member, I am encourawged by the reviews herein. In that since being a member I was unfortunate not to be offered a placement having moved from SLAM who do not use the device EPR or PIMM'S. I was told that due to the fact I have no knowledge of usage of these devices I would be properly trained on their usage. This never materialised because I was told the department has not got the time to train me. Quite rcently whilst browsing for temporary work with the Bank, a placement caught my eye stating "Access to free Bank Partners core skills training". This is a marked improvement for anyone who joins the Bank with no knowledge of how to use these devices. Well done Bank Partners.
