Barts Health NHS Trust are recruiting an experienced critical care nurse to join their dynamic team within the ITU unit of one of their committed, fast-paced and world-class hospitals in London - Whipps Cross Hospital.
This is a fantastic chance for a registered ITU nurse to undertake a challenging role within one of London’s leading centres for healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery of individualised care to the most high-risk patients, while working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. Whipps Cross Hospital have a reputation as a centre of excellence for their various specialisms, including urology, ENT, audiology, cardiology, colorectal surgery, cancer care, and acute stroke care. The hospital offers a diverse range of general inpatient, outpatient, and day cases services, as well as maternity services and a 24-hour A&E and urgent care centre.
Important Requirements:
- NMC Registration & ITU qualified
- At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
