Barts Health NHS Trust are recruiting an experienced critical care nurse to join their dynamic team within the ICU unit of one of their committed, fast-paced and world-class hospitals in London - St Bartholomew's Hospital.
This is a fantastic chance for a registered ITU nurse to undertake a challenging role within one of London’s leading centres for healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery of individualised care to the most high-risk patients, while working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. Barts Trust offers a range of specialist services and state-of-the-art facilities across its five London hospitals, providing quality healthcare to over 2.5 million people. In addition to heart and cancer care, St. Bartholomew's Hospital provide a number of additional services including endocrinology, fertility, respiratory, thoracic and a minor injuries unit.
Essential Requirements:
- NMC Registration & ITU qualified
- At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
