The Priory Hospital – Band 2 – Health Care Assistant (HCA)
The Priory are seeking a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to work within their group of private mental health hospitals alongside their committed, close-knit, approachable, and friendly team. This is a flexible and rewarding role, which enables you to choose your own shifts available up to 12 weeks in advance. Free parking and onsite facilities such as a gym and canteen are available to bank staff. All RRIT training is also provided upon starting with the Priory Bank. You will work as part of a team to provide the best possible treatment for our patients.

Duties
- Overseeing observations with nurses and assisting with patient care
- Being supportive with patients and ensuring their wellbeing is cared for
- Assisting patients during mealtimes, daily activities and support groups
- Assisting with patients’ daily notes and discharge notes
- Assisting with making snacks
Requirements
- Great communication skills
- Compassionate, understanding and supportive to our patients needs
- Have an understanding of mental health
- Experience working within a mental health setting desirable but not essential as an induction will be provided
