Barts Health NHS Trust are recruiting an experienced critical care nurse to join their dynamic team within the ICU unit of one of their committed, fast-paced and world-class hospitals in London.
Barts Trust offer a range of specialist services and state-of-the-art facilities across their five London hospitals, providing quality healthcare to over 2.5 million people. Newham Hospital provide an impressive range of services, including emergency care, surgery, children’s health, women’s health, maternity services, specialist medicine, long-term care, and a dedicated stroke unit. They run an impressive acute specialist service for mental healthcare, Newham Centre for Mental Health, to provide care for mental health crises and less critical admissions in a 24-hour, seven days a week, supporting, and safe environment. Newham Hospital also offer a range of other clinical services to help those struggling with their mental health, ensuring that all care is individualised, tailored to each patient’s unique needs, and promotes recovery and inclusion.
This is a fantastic chance for a registered ITU nurse to undertake a challenging role within one of London’s leading centres for healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery of individualised care to the most high-risk patients, while working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. Important Requirements:
- NMC Registration & ITU qualified
- At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
