Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are searching for an enthusiastic and passionate Band 3 Assistant Ophthalmic Vision Science Practitioner/ HCA to join their highly skilled and experienced team at their Bedford site.

Ophthalmic Imaging is a specialised form of Medical Photography. This imaging specialism is dedicated to the recording and treatment of many disorders of the eye, both common and rare.
Moorfields Eye Hospital has had an Imaging Service since the late 1960s and to this day, Ophthalmic Imaging continues to provide a Gold Standard service across a broad range of clinical imaging techniques.
Ophthalmic Imaging plays a critical role in supporting the main aim of Moorfields, to be the Centre of Excellence in Ophthalmic care.
Our dedicated team of skilled Ophthalmic Vision Science practitioners hold a broad range of expertise in providing a comprehensive imaging service.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A caring, empathetic approach to all patients
- A proactive and professional work ethic
- Ophthalmic Experience
