Barts Bank- Chief Cardiac Physiologist - Echocardiography

We are seeking experienced Cardiac Physiologist’s to join the Barts Health Staff Bank to work at Barts Heart Centre - rotational between Newham University Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

The post holder will be required to perform complex level tasks unsupervised and to assist senior staff as required. The post holder will be required to work autonomously as a senior staff member within the non-invasive Cardiovascular Diagnostics department, assisting senior staff as required with managerial tasks. In addition the post holder will be required to supervise, train, guide and support staff in the performance of their individual roles and to give support to senior staff members

  • Well versed in basic diagnostic skills expected of a band 6 cardiac physiologist or higher
  • Experience on Hands on Transthoracic echo


Required for role:

  • BSc Clinical Physiology
  • Good knowledge of transthoracicechocardiography
  • BSE/ESC qualification (working towards)
