An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Bank doctor to join our team. You should have excellent communication, teamwork and clinical skills. This post is a ST 1-2 level and you will work closely with the Consultants, Specialist Registrars, clinical nurse specialists as well as other multidisciplinary team members. You will be based mostly with inpatients across the whole of UCLH hospitals, supporting senior team members with management of patients of all ages (age 12+) with palliative care issues.

 Whilst this post is not formally recognised for training, it offers an excellent opportunity to gain skills and experience in Palliative and end of life care which is now a key component of internal medical training. Active educational support tailored to the individuals’ experience and needs will be provided through an assigned educational supervisor. The hours are Monday – Friday 9am- 5pm (approx)

There is no on call commitment for this post.


You must have (essential):

·         full registration with the GMC;

·         at least two years’ post-graduation clinical experience;

·         EPIC access
