Position Details:
- Job Title: Middle Grade Doctor in Oncology
- Department: Department of Oncology, University College Hospital
- Number of Positions: 9 Middle Grade Doctors in Medical Oncology, 18 Middle Grade Doctors in Clinical Oncology, 3 Specialty Doctors, 11 ST1/2 Level Doctors in Oncology
- Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Be one of the vital middle grade doctors in the Department of Oncology at University College Hospital.
- Participate in the on-call rota with prospective cover (band 1B or equivalent).
- Contribute to the comprehensive care for all types of cancer, including rare tumour types such as brain, sarcomas, and paediatric and adolescent oncology.
- Functionally integrate with clinical haematology, specializing in haematological oncology, including transplant.
Training and Development:
- Access training within the Department of Oncology at University College Hospital.
- Benefit from exposure to a wide range of cancer cases and treatments.
- Contribute to supraregional services and advancements in oncology.

Requirements:
- Relevant medical qualifications and GMC registration.
- Experience or keen interest in oncology.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
