Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust are searching for a passionate Consultant Breast Radiologist to join their highly skilled team.

This role is a 1 year fixed term, undertaking both screening and symptomatic breast work to support our large breast unit. Symptomatic and breast screening is both undertaken at our site and PHU diagnose and treat 700 breast cancers per year.
The Department:
Portsmouth Radiology Department consists of 44 consultant radiologists with the department divided into subspeciality covering chest, cardiac, GI, GU, Head and neck and neuro, intervention, oncology and breast.
Portsmouth is a large teaching hospital and has most subspecialties and has a large research department. It is the regional centre for renal transplant, Renal services and Bariatric surgery. Portsmouth hospital is host to Portsmouth Medical School.
Requirements:
Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months), CESR European Community Rights
Fellowship of Royal College of Radiologists, or equivalent.
Subspecialty experience
Quality Assured film reader
Responsible Assessor in breast screening assessment clinics
Participation in 2WW clinics
Participation in cold symptomatic (problem solving, further biopsy etc.)
Professional skills of high standard in Clinical Radiology.
Demonstrable basic management skills.
Excellent time management.
Computer literacy.
