Kingston Hospital Trust are seeking experienced Pharmacist to join the Bank
Provision of weekend ward and dispensary based clinical Pharmacy services.
Dispensing and checking prescriptions
To provide a Clinical Pharmacy service to designated wards, assessing the suitability of prescribed medicines.
To identify prescriptions that might present risks to patients and to resolve issues before dispensing.
In the dispensaries, to scrutinise and interpret prescriptions, dispense and supervise dispensing with the overall objective of ensuring patients receive the correct medicine, in a timely manner, and that the medicine is safe and appropriate for the patient.
What we need from you:
· Masters Degree in Pharmacy
· Recent and current experience as a clinical pharmacist on NHS acute medical and surgical wards
. 12 months UK NHS hospital pre-registration
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
During this pandemic we are fastracking our recruitment process but will still require:
· Proof of Right to Work in the UK
· An Enhanced DBS
· Occupational Health Clearance
