Cancer services at Barts Health have an international reputation and offer the very latest in cancer care, in a healing, calm environment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Oncology Therapies Team at Bart’s Health.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and caring individual to join our Oncology Therapies Team as a Band 6physiotherapist. You will be working as part of a supportive Therapy Team that consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and rehab support workers. There are excellent training and development opportunities as well as a robust supervision and appraisal system.

Required for role:
- HCPC registration & Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience as a Physiotherapist.
The post holder will be expected to deliver physiotherapy services across acute inpatient haematology, medical and clinical oncology and surgery, as well as breast outpatients and our late effects Breast Radiotherapy Injury Rehabilitation Service. You will gain experience in assessing and developing treatment programs for this broad range of oncological conditions as well as developing your leadership, service development and teaching skills.
Experience working clinically at Band 6 level with experience of treating complex patients and evidence of acute and chronic rehabilitation skills, ideally with experience in oncology or palliative care.
Experience of close multi-professional working, demonstrate excellent communication skills and have experience in managing juniors, assistants and students.
