As business development manager my primary responsibilities are to develop relationships with new trusts, manage the tender process for new contracts and the renewal of existing contracts. I have worked in the recruitment industry for the past 14 years, ten of which have been within the medical staffing sector. Prior to this, I worked a number of years in operational management.
The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that the work we do helps the NHS trusts keep their agency spend down. I enjoy helping prospective clients understand our proposition and watching them experience the advantages that Bank Partners can bring as an outsourced bank service; improved efficiencies; improved fill rates; overall cost reductions and so on. On a more personal level, I’m proud to have led the team that won the Barts Health contract.
The work I do supports NHS trusts gain a better understanding of what we can achieve if we partner up and work together, but it also extends to the candidates we work with, as our service offers excellent work opportunities with flexible shift patterns in some of the best NHS trusts in the country.
