Winter Pressures

Working alongside several NHS Trusts and our other healthcare partners, we understand better than anyone the additional pressures placed on the essential services they provide and the challenges they face each winter.

At Bank Partners, we support both our partners and our workforce with the help of various teams of experts we have working to deliver an excellent service. This winter we’d like to take you behind the scenes so you can hear exactly what their roles are in supporting you throughout the winter period.

What are winter pressures?

Winter pressures is a term used within the NHS and other healthcare organisations that refers to the added challenges healthcare services feel when faced with the effects of the cold weather. This is partly due to the rise in respiratory illnesses such as colds and flus – as they are easily passed between more people as groups are more likely to gather indoors. The elderly and vulnerable tend to be the most affected in society as their need for medical care increases.
