Registered Critical Care Nurse - London

Job Summary 

University College London Hospitals are on the lookout for a qualified critical care nurse to join their highly skilled clinical team within their Intensive Care Unit.

UCLH comprises of six renowned and specialist hospitals, including the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals, University College Hospital and University College Hospital Grafton Way Building. Across these sites, UCLH offers expansive critical care services, including general adult intensive care, a High Dependency Unit (HDU), a Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), 24-hour critical care outreach, and the Critical Care Follow-Up Clinic. UCLH’s committed ITU multidisciplinary team work round the clock across these services to provide some of the best critical care in London.

This is a superb opportunity for a qualified critical care nurse to join a committed clinical team and fast-track their knowledge and experience within UCLH’s exceptional ICU services. This role is ideal for someone with robust clinical knowledge who works well under pressure, and who is seeking to learn from some of the UK’s leading critical care professionals.

Important Requirements:

  • NMC Registration & ITU qualified
  • At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
