General Nurse - London

Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Trust (BHRUT) hospitals have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work across their hospitals as a part of their devoted nursing team.

As a large teaching Trust located in north east London, BHRUT provides care for a population of more than 750,000 people across three of the most diverse London boroughs. More than half of the 7,500 strong workforce are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and most live in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.

BHRUT is a centre of excellence, operating from two main sites - King George Hospital in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford. The Trust operates two emergency departments and offers a full range of acute services. They have a neuroscience centre, a cancer centre, and a hyper acute stroke unit to provide specialist care. In addition, they were the first Trust in the UK to introduce Varian Halcyon radiotherapy which helps reduce treatment times for cancer patients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse to diversify their skills by working across multiple sites and learning from a highly accomplished clinical team.

Important Requirements:

  • NMC Registration
  • At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years,
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
