Clinical Nurse Specialist - Band 7 - Ultrasound Qualification Essential

Gynaecology Service Group - Women's Health CAG, Womens Division

 37.5 Hours Per Week, Barts Health (across all Barts sites)

 The post holder acts as as specialist practitioner in the area of early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology care and will act as a resource for this across the gynaecology department. The role will have responsibility for deputising for the lead CNS in co-coordinating and developing the Emergency Gynaecology Unit. Working closely with the lead consultant, the post holder will ensure the delivery of evidence based care throughout the unit, with innovation approach to participate in developing and implementing service development projects.

The role shares the responsibility to facilitate an effective communication link across directorates and within the women directorate and perform ultrasound examinations cross-site to include early pregnancy and gynaecological case mix as appropriate and competent.
