Adult Critical Care Unit 6A 1C 1E – Rotational Staff Nurse (no ICU Experience)
We are currently recruiting for band 5 Staff Nurses to join our world class critical care units on 6A, 1C and 1E. If you have a minimum of 6-months acute experience and would like to progress your career in critical care, ECMO, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and oncology, then we would like to hear from you. You will have the opportunity to rotate between all three of our critical care units each offering a unique, but vast and diverse learning experience.
We are extremely proud to have been rated ‘outstanding’ in our leadership by the Care Quality Commission in 2017. Your professional development is very important to us and we offer you the opportunity to undertake ILS, ALS, CALS, ICU Transfer Training, Band 5/6 forums and airway management days. There are opportunities to undertake the critical care course on the BSc or MSc pathway. You will be allocated to work within a Nursing team managed by and band 7 and have regular team away days.
We have a platform for nurse led research and are fortunate enough to be able offer our nurses’ opportunities to gain BSc, MSc and PHD qualifications, which is fully supported by our director of research and development.
