Locum- Band 4 VDI Rollout Desktop Engineer - Kingston Upon Thames

The role is 37.5 / week,  out of hours, and occasional weekends,Until the end of October 2020

Your Duties will be

1)       Deploying the VDI / Windows 10 solution to all areas of the Trust:

a)      Work with the other project and infrastructure resources to rollout the new solution to Trust PC’s and laptops.

b)      Configure each device as instructed, test that each device passes pre-defined quality checks before handing back to the user.

c)      Report any issues that cannot be resolved at the time.

d)      Provide post deployment support to departments and users that have been migrated.

e)      If the user is present, ensure that all systems, applications, including printing are working.

f)        Report any issues that cannot be resolved at the time.

 

Kingston Hospital Trust are seeking experienced Desktop Engineer to join the Bank to assist with the current pandemic. 

What we need from you:

.         Be confident in using Windows 10

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

During this pandemic we are fastracking our recruitment process but will still require:

·         Proof of Right to Work in the UK  

·         An Enhanced DBS 

·         Occupational Health Clearance
