The Royal Eye Unit at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable candidate to join the department via Bank as a Patient Pathway Assistant, for at least 2 months from the beginning of July. The post will be full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathway of care. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide support to the Patient Pathway Co-ordinator (PPC) in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly. The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focused and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.

Duties: Sourcing missing notes for clinics on the day, processing Big Hand Letters, booking appointments, dealing with phone queries, confirming appointments with patients on the phone, supporting PPC team with any other admin queries.

NHS experience, knowledge of Big Hand letters processing & CRS appointments booking is essential.
