The UCLH Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team are looking for an experienced project manager  to join their team on a temporary basis to provide project leadership and ad-hoc admin support to the senior team.

Based in Euston, the role will be remote and office based and predominantly Monday – Friday 08.30 – 16.30 although we are looking for candidates that have a flexible approach to the working day.

The role is to start ASAP and is being offered on an initial 2 month basis.

The role will involve:- 

  • Project management; developing and owning a suite of projects including but not limited to project mandates, project plans, risk
  • and issue logs, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timescales
  • Actively engaging and working collaboratively with colleagues and partners across the OH&WB dept and the wider Trust (as necessary)  to support project delivery, including coordinating complex activities
  • Monitoring project delivery and developing update reports for a variety of project groups, including benefits realisation
  • Drafting internal communications promoting the services that Occupational Health can offer
  • Creating processes , process maps and procedures relevant to Occupational Health
  • Interpreting and presenting data to Key Stakeholders within the Trust
  • Updating internal databases
  • Represent the Occupational Health Department at meetings and virtual briefings
  • Work closely with clinical members of the team to gain a good understanding of the department
  • Providing high level admin support to Senior members of the Occupational Health Team
  • Supporting production of business cases and bids for funding
  • The role will report into the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Business Operations Manager

 The ideal candidate will have:-

  • Previous project management experience with evidence of the use of project management tools and project reporting
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting (Occupational Health setting desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience in working in the NHS (Desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work on their own initiative
  • Ability to deal effectively and appropriately with people at all levels
  • Attention to detail and ability to present information in a concise manner
  • Promote a positive image of improvement and its benefits to staff and service users as necessary
