Moorfeilds Eye hospital NHS Trust are looking for a Band 5 Quality and Safety Facilitator to work at their City Road site due to start on the 29th January, hours are between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
The post will undertake several key tasks within the Quality and Safety department.
The post holder will support the administration of trust policies and other procedural documents, focusing on publishing these on the intranet; maintaining registers, and liaising with individuals and groups on policy and procedural document matters. The role will also play a key role in identifying, gathering and logging evidence in relation to CQC action planning, and elsewhere as required. In addition, if there is sufficient capacity, the role will provide general departmental administrational support, including support for meetings.
The post requires knowledge and experience of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Explorer, and MS Outlook, as well as the ability to administer intranet pages.
To receive, check, re-format and publish policies and other procedural documents in line with agreed trust processes, including working with document authors to ensure consistency of format.
To maintain the respective registers for policies and other procedural documents.
To identify the status of policies and other procedural documents and to report on these either to individuals or to groups (approving committees for instance).
To administer the file structure for the CQC action planning evidence, identifying any gaps, and to maintain a log of the evidence.
To liaise with leads for the collection and maintenance of this evidence.
.To assist with the administration of meetings (including calendar management and the preparation of meeting papers), and with typing and taking of minutes.
You will be required to have:
- Good general education including English and maths at GCSE A-C or equivalent
- Be computer literate
- Have previous health-care clerical experience or experience working in a health-care environment
- Have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the team structure
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- 6 months NHS experience desirable
