Pharmacy at UCLH: UCLH Pharmacy is integral to our mission, providing a comprehensive range of services. Our overarching goal is to ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines throughout the Trust, while actively contributing to education, training, and research initiatives. Engaging at every stage of the medicines' lifecycle, our Pharmacy Department negotiates contracts for medicine procurement, assesses outcomes in clinical settings, and collaborates at all intermediary stages.

Collaboration and Centralization: We maintain close working relationships with the local hospital pharmacy departments at the Royal Free and The Whittington Hospitals. This collaboration has led to the centralization of key backroom operational services, such as manufacturing, repacking, education, and training. Simultaneously, it allows us to focus local clinical services on directly enhancing patient care outcomes.
