The post-holder will provide safe, efficient and timely medicines management to the Gastrointestinal Services (GI) division in accordance with objectives agreed between the post-holder, the Lead Clinical/Patient Services Technician, Patient Services Operational Manager and Director of Clinical Services

Main duties of the job

 To lead and manage:

Develop, introduce, deliver, monitor and assess systems for the safe, efficient and timely provision of medicines management in accordance with objectives agreed.

Ward:

  • Develop and introduce systems to enhance the safe, efficient and timely provision of medicines management, in conjunction with the other members of GI pharmacy services team.
  • To undertake accurate and detailed patient medication histories, using a variety of available sources
  • To act as an accredited medicines management technician

What do we look for?

  • GCPC registration is compulsory
  • At least 6 months NHS experience but not compulsory
  • A candidate who is passionately driven and determined
