We have an exciting new opportunity here at Portsmouth Queen Alexandra Hospital. We are seeking a Bank SHO/SPR doctor to work in the Acute Oncology Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Registrar level day to day care for Acute Oncology admission, together with AOS NPs.
  • Attend Medical Oncology Educational Seminars and lunch on Fridays.
  • Participate in the Outreach covering of Dayunit in emergency, for Dayunit in set SOPs.
  • On Oncology on-call rota (Daily 8-6 pm Mon - Friday, no Saturday & Sunday 0900 - 2100)

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK and Full GMC Registration
  • A minimum of 6-months experience working within the NHS
