Physiotherapist - Band 6 – HRCH Trust

Bank Partners are seeking a motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join the Staff Bank to help support the trust and their team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including their medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Based on your findings, you will develop individualized treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, improving mobility, and enhancing overall function. You will implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
Educating patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies is a key part of the role, promoting long-term health and preventing recurrence. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible patient care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, participate in continuing education opportunities, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience with the NHS, 6 months in the last 3 years minimum.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
