Physiotherapist Band 6 - Kingston

Job Summary:

Kingston and Richmond Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing treatment programs to improve patients' physical function and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience as a physiotherapist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Must have 6 months NHS experience within the last 3 years. 
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of a wide range of physiotherapy techniques and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
