As a Qualified Physiotherapist you will be required to:

  • Evaluate patient progress, reassess and alter treatment programmes if required.
  • Carry out highly specialist comprehensive assessments demonstrating highly specialised skills while working on a wide range of patients. 
  • Provide planned treatments, advice, teaching and instruction to patients, relatives, carers and other professionals.
  • Have a theoretical and practical understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and biomechanics and to use this understanding to prescribe therapeutic interventions. 
  • Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients, and organise this effectively.
  • Take a major role in the advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment of patients with the speciality who may have acute and sub-acute pathology presentations.
