BSW Hospitals Group is a formal partnership between Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust and Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. The group came together in May 2025 with a shared ambition to make a difference for colleagues, patients, families, partners and wider communities across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire and beyond.
Together, the group brings together a workforce of more than 17,600 colleagues, with a budget of £1.6 billion and a shared purpose to deliver the best possible care to more than one million people. The group is focused on reducing differences in access to care, experience and outcomes, while also improving colleague experience and tackling shared challenges including sustainability and finances.
