Joining or leaving a bank

How do I join as an agency worker?

Email Join.BSW@bankpartners.co.uk for guidance and support.

How will my bank details be collected?

Information will be requested by email using a secure dual authentication process. Look out for an email from Join.BSW@bankpartners.co.uk after completing the initial sign-up link.

What happens if I choose not to transfer?

Your bank posting and grade will be closed. You can work shifts up to 31 July 2026 but not after that date.

How do I request my P45 if I decide to leave the Bank?

The payroll team will assist with sending your P45 and you will not need to complete onboarding.

Applications

Where can I find the current open vacancies?

Vacancies will be available through the Bank Partners portal closer to launch.

Transfer process

Will staff retain NHS email accounts and access to systems such as Teams?

Yes, NHS email and required trust ystem access will remain.

Will access to internal platforms (e.g. learning systems. Dictation systems) continue?

Access will be maintained as required for the role.

What happens to existing system logins and access?

Access will be maintained as required for the role.

Will additional training be required for different IT systems across sites?

Any required site-specific system training will be communicated in advance.

Will there be any changes to uniforms?

No. Trust uniforms remain and continue to be supplied by the trust.

Will staff still have access to employee benefits (e.g. discounts, self-referral services)?

Some benefits remain, including Blue Light Card. Bank Partners also provides Occupational Health support.

Will expenses e.g. travel for roles such as Hospital at Home still be reimbursed?

Where managers agree expenses, they continue at Trust rates.

When are the drop-in sessions, and does everyone have to attend?

Sessions are held across all three trusts. Attendance is optional; dates, times and locations are linked on the page.

Should I use a personal or NHS email address to register?

Either can be used. To change the address used for bank work, email Join.BSW@bankpartners.co.uk.
