At Bank Partners, our aim is to make sure that it’s easy for you to work flexible shifts in a supportive, professional environment. We’ve included below some key information that you might find useful as you start your journey with us.
Whilst you are now cleared to work, please allow two working days for your profile to be loaded onto the system, any shifts worked prior to this date can be added retrospectively. If you have not been added after two working days, please email

All nursing and admin shifts must be booked via Loop.

Timesheets
Timesheets must be authorised by your manager by midday on Tuesday, for payment on Friday.
Please note: The above applies to shifts worked in the previous week. You will never be paid in the same week for a shift worked during that week.

You will receive your login details for Loop within five working days of receiving this email. You can then view all available shifts across the Trust’s sites.

We understand that circumstances can change, and you may occasionally need to cancel a scheduled work shift. To ensure a smooth and efficient process, please follow the procedures below:
More than three days’ notice:
If you need to cancel your shift with more than three days’ notice, please complete our online cancellation form. This form collects all the necessary information so we can process your cancellation promptly and accurately.
Less than three days’ notice:
If you need to cancel your shift within three days of the scheduled date, please contact our Bookings Team directly. You can reach them by calling 0333 577 0013 between the hours of 6am – 10pm. The Bookings Team will assist you with processing the last‑minute cancellation and ensuring a smooth transition.
It is important to notify the Bookings Team as soon as possible so they can make the necessary adjustments to the schedule and attempt to find a suitable replacement. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following this guideline.
Trust cancellations
On rare occasions, the trust may need to cancel a shift. If this happens within two hours of the scheduled start time, you will receive a 2 hour cancellation fee.
As with all NHS Staff Banks, you may be asked by the Trust to work in a different setting on occasions to the one which you have booked. This will always be with patient safety in mind, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
Your details will pull through to Health Roster at which point you will be able to login and view shifts.
Please note it can take some time for your details to pull through onto the Health Roster system for you to be able to view and book shifts. We endeavour to turn this around as soon as possible but ask for your patience as we have.
To protect your wellbeing and stay compliant with the Working Time Directive, please ensure your total working hours average no more than 48 hours per week over any Monday–Sunday period, typically calculated across a 17-week reference period.

The usual payroll deadline for shifts worked in the previous week is Friday at 12pm, with payment made the following week (bi‑weekly payroll). To check whether you will receive payment on a given Friday, please ask your manager to confirm that your shifts have been finalised.
Please note that alternative payroll dates and deadlines may apply during weeks affected by bank holidays. Any changes will be communicated to you via the Bank Partners Portal
As you are paid directly by the Trust, any pay-related queries must be raised with your payroll provider, SBS. Please contact them using the details below:
To collect your uniform (nursing staff only) and your ID card, please visit the Bank Office located in the Trust Headquarters at North Middlesex Hospital. Our office hours are 08:30–17:00, Monday to Friday.

Please contact your line manager for your trust login details. If this is your first bank shift, your sister in charge in the department should be able to help you request this.
Please note that future DBS applications, additional uniform requests, and copies of training certificates are subject to a charge. For any support or information about these charges, please do not hesitate to contact us.
