University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, known as UCLH, was established in 1994 and provides first-class acute and specialist services across six hospitals in central London. Its mission is to deliver top-quality patient care, excellent education and world-class research, making it a distinctive place to build experience in a specialist NHS setting. 

UCLH brings together a wide range of services, including emergency care, cancer care, critical care, neurology, neurosurgery, women’s health, tropical and infectious diseases, integrated medicine, ear, nose and throat, dental services, and sport and exercise health. 

The trust has a strong focus on research and education. At any one time, around 1,500 research studies are taking place at UCLH, with around 15,000 patients taking part in studies.
