This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic radiographers to join our progressive, supportive and friendly department at a major teaching hospital, in the heart of Central London.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic senior radiographer with sophisticated communication skills and a patient-centred approach. You will need to have significant experience in CT scanning and extensive general radiographic experience. You are required to possess demonstrable teaching abilities as you will be working with under-graduates & junior staff within a wide range of clinical services.

The Radiology directorate is in the Imaging Division which also includes Nuclear Medicine. The Division is in Surgery and Cancer Board which is led by the Medical Director. Radiology services are provided at 5 sites across the UCLH campus. We provide CT, MRI, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology services
Main Duties:
- This is an exciting role for a dedicated and enthusiastic radiographer with advanced radiographic experience.
- You will join a large team of radiographers within an extensive multi-site Imaging department.
- The role will consist of CT rotation across all satellite sites on a variety of CT scanners.
- You will ensure adherence to IR(ME)R 2017 across the department.
- You should have a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work, exceptional organisational skills that will enable you to manage a varied workload ensuring safe and clinical practices, whilst always demonstrating leadership and best practice
Important Requirements:
- HCPC Qualified or qualification in diagnostic radiography.
- At least 6 months previous experience in NHS & Radiology department in last 3 years.
- Strong initiative and commitment to mentoring talent, acting as a role model and resource to junior staff.
- An honest individual with integrity, and a caring approach to patients.
- Excellent administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
