Kingston Hospital are searching for a passionate and experienced Band 2 Cardiographer to join their highly skilled Cardiology team.
Kingston Hospital is an acute NHS hospital located in the leafy borough of Kingston upon Thames, South West London, England. It is managed by the Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Job Summary:
The post holder will perform a range of routine cardiology diagnostic tests on both adult and paediatric patients to a competent and professional standard.
To adhere to departmental policies and procedures, ensuring a quality service is maintained to patients, general practitioners and clinicians.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (to include English, Maths and Science)
- Used to working with patients in a health care environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team working skills
- Able to take responsibility for accurate work
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to work to deadlines
- An understanding of what an ECG is and how it is performed
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality
- Knowledge of data protection
- Ability to respect a patient’s privacy and dignity as well as cultural and religious beliefs
- Good team player

- Adaptable and flexible
- Ability to prioritise and organise
