Barts Health Staff Bank provides temporary workers to the Barts Health NHS Trust while simultaneously helping them reduce the reliance on agency workers. Run by Bank Partners, the staff bank works in partnership with the trust ensuring that shift fill rates are kept to an acceptable level and the high standard of care provided to patients is maintained.

Barts Health Staff Bank supports all six main hospital sites within the trust. The staff bank work hard to provide high quality healthcare professionals to support the East London community of 2.5 million people. As a result, Bank Partners is always looking for high quality healthcare workers to join the Barts Health Staff Bank.

Barts Health offer great opportunities for staff, temporary workers and volunteers. The Trust is committed to developing staff professionally, helping you achieve your full potential. To this end, the Barts Health NHS Trust has partnered with University College London, and Queen Mary University who offer training courses which can help you further develop your skills as a healthcare professional.

As a Barts Health Staff Bank worker, you’ll have complete control over the shifts you work. If you want to work full-time doing day shifts, or if you only want weekends, we can accommodate you. As Barts Health Staff Bank is looking to support the Trust reduce their agency spend, you’ll always have priority over available shifts. Even if an agency worker has been booked to fill a shift you want, you will be given that shift ahead of them. You’ll be able to quickly boost your income through extra shift work as bank workers are paid on a weekly basis.
