Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust are searching for an experienced and driven Recruitment Administrator to join their highly skilled team.

Job Purpose:

To provide a comprehensive recruitment administration service to the organisations, ensuring effective recruitment, selection and employment processes are completed and accurate.

Provide ongoing support and regular communication on related recruitment issues and pre-employment checks to line managers and employees.

Job Summary:

To proactively manage the onboarding of all new starters to the organisation, including issuing documentation, undertaking all pre-employment checks, liaising with candidates and managers to ensure a smooth start to their employment.

  • Requirements:
    NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Experience of effectively using paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Experience of inputting data into personnel/payroll or other similar systems and use of Microsoft office.
  • High standard of computer literacy with good keyboard skills.
  • How to communicate effectively by telephone.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, dealing with callers to the department who may be distressed and / or upset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
