Position: Endoscopy Waiting List Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 hours
Responsible to: Deputy Service Manager
Accountable to: Service Manager
Job Summary
The Endoscopy Waiting List Coordinator will be responsible for the daily administration of the defined waiting lists and will liaise closely with clinicians, line managers and the operational management team. The post holder will be required to have a full understanding of and adherence to the Trust’s Access policy and will implement changes to working practices in line with national access targets and local service requirements.

- Waiting list management - active, planned and surveillance
- Data quality
- Clinical Governance
- Human resources
- Finance
- Follow the policies and procedures of the Endoscopy Department.
- Making waiting lists and clinic appointments on patient administration system.
- To collect urgently requested Medical notes.
