Position Overview
We are currently seeking dynamic and experienced medical professionals for the General Medicine position at the ST3+ grade. This temporary role at Whittington Health offers a unique opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to a lively and diverse community.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Medical Care: Provide thorough medical care within the General Medicine department.
- Patient Assessments: Conduct assessments, examinations, and diagnoses of patients at the ST3+ level.
- Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Ward Rounds and Clinics: Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and other essential medical services.
- Supervision and Support: Supervise and support junior medical staff.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical Degree: Completion of relevant postgraduate training.
- GMC Registration: Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and eligibility for a License to Practice.
- Experience: Experience at the ST3 level or higher in General Medicine.
- Skills: Proficiency in clinical and diagnostic skills, outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills.
