The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS trust are seeking an experienced Head of Nursing to join the Staffbank and work within our team!
You will work with the general manager and Clinical Director to meet the Division’s key performance targets, leading effective and efficient delivery operational and clinical services with particular emphasis on effective clinical care, . as well as implementing the strategic, financial and operational plans and efficiently deploying the resources of the Directorate.
Lead on clinical efficiencies and service improvement programmes, thereby raising standards of practice, productivity and value for money.
As part of the directorate senior management team, the Head of Nursing will alongside the Clinical Director lead the delivery of quality governance for the Division. They will support the improvement and strengthening of quality of care (patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness) by working closely with local governance leads. A key part of the role will include ensuring the delivery of CQC standards and to work with the General Manager and Clinical Director to move the services in the Division to a continuously improving CQC rating.
Be the lead professional for nurses and nursing teams in the Division and be an advocate for patients, families and carers in the achievement of clinical excellence. Locally the post holder will lead on optimising and strengthening the role and responsibility of nurses within the Division and on nursing workforce resilience and succession planning.
