FAQs

How long will it take for me to be on-boarded.

As this is a patient facing role and you will be required to provide a number of documents - pulling these together can take up to 4 weeks. You will also need to do some training – online in your own time and some face-to-face.

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Yes – in line with the government guidelines we are currently only recruiting people into this setting who are fully vaccinated.

Will I be paid for my training?

You will be paid for your face-to-face training once you have completed your first full shift. We cannot pay you for your online training, but the modules are not too time consuming and you should be able to do them in your own time.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Due to the nature of applications we ask you to apply for one role only. Once you are onboarded you may be able to expand the number of roles you are doing depending on suitability. Please follow the routes below:

  • If you are only interested in an administration role, please apply for the admin vacancy
  • If you would like to be considered for administration and vaccinator roles, please apply for a vaccinator position
  • If you are a healthcare professional, please apply through the HCP route

How often will I be working?

As you are on a 0-hour contract, and due to the nature of the vaccination program we can’t guarantee you a number of hours. Some of our team work full time hours, some part time and some pick up ad hoc shifts. We are asking that applicants are able to commit to 18hours per week on average – but we are reliant on availability of the vaccine, number of appointments and a number of other factors in this program so your flexibility in these roles is appreciated.

Where exactly will I be working?

NPL work across a number of locations and you will be able to sign up to shifts at the different locations as you prefer. We are currently working in several mass vaccination sites, on out-reach programs that rove, in schools, in doctors’ surgeries and more. For any new venues we provide information to you directly when you book. All of them are located in North Central London.

I applied before and didn’t get to work – why are you reopening now, and can I apply again?

When we initially opened the vaccination program we were inundated with people and unfortunately couldn’t employ everyone. Now that the program has lasted beyond what was initially planned, we have some gaps hence re-opening the recruitment.

You are very welcome to apply again – please note that due to GDPR we will have deleted any documents you may have sent us before and you will need to go through the full application process again.

I have more questions. How can I contact you?
