To provide a comprehensive, swift and efficient Mortuary service to the Trust and the Royal Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond.
The post holder will work within the Quality Management Process established in the Directorate of Pathology to ensure the effective delivery of a high quality service that meets the needs and requirements of all users contributing towards continuing accreditation with CPA (UK) Ltd and compliance with the requirements of the Human Tissue Act
The post holder will be expected to respond positively to the changing demands of the service in order to ensure the effective delivery of a high quality service that meets the needs of all users.

- Diploma Anatomical Pathology Technology
- Minimum 2 years experience within a hospital mortuary or equivalent.

About Kingston Hospital
We are a district general hospital supporting around 350,000 people in the surrounding area including Kingston, Richmond, Roehampton, Putney and East Elmbridge. We were the first acute Trust in south west London to gain Foundation Trust status when we were authorised in May 2013.
We have approximately 350 beds and directly employ around 2,900 staff with another 300 staff employed by contractors but working on behalf of the Trust. In the last year the Trust saw over 127,000 patients in A&E, undertook almost 444,500 outpatient appointments and cared for more than 67,000 admitted patients (including day case and maternity admissions). Our maternity unit delivered over 4,900 babies.
