We are seeking Phlebotomists to join the Barts Health Staff Bank to work across all Barts Health Sites.

The Outpatient Department at Whipps Cross Hospital are looking to recruit Bank Phlebotomists who are capable of delivering a high quality patient focused service to our wards and outpatient clinics.. The main duty is to collect blood samples from patients on the wards and attending the outpatient clinic at Whipps Cross Hospital, maternity unit, domiciliary service and health centres in Waltham Forest Community.
Successful candidates will be required to work at any of the areas listed above.
Core working hours are currently 8.00am-5:00pm, based over seven days. Morning and afternoon shifts are available. Standard shifts are normally 8 – 12 covering Monday – Sunday and 13:00 – 17:00 covering Monday – Friday however the service is flexible and additional hours, shifts will be available to right candidates.
All Candidates will be expected to work on acute wards as well as outpatient areas and will be required to work some weekend shifts as necessary.
You will enjoy working within all areas of the OPD settings and be willing to work on either the wards or one of our community phlebotomy Sites when required.

- Extensive experience in adult phlebotomy is essential. Experience inpaediatric phlebotomy would be an advantage but is not essential,
