University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) are searching for a passionate Foundation Year 2 Senior House Officer to join their highly skilled team based at their Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy, Buckinghamshire.
Join the UCLH clinical team at the historic Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy, a leading national centre in epilepsy diagnosis, treatment, and research. This is an exceptional opportunity for junior doctors interested in neurology and epilepsy to gain in-depth experience in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
You will be based on the Sir William Gowers Assessment and Treatment Unit, a 26-bed ward, and collaborate with a full MDT including epileptologists, neurophysiologists, specialist nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, radiographers, and more.
Main Duties:
- Day-to-day care of neurology inpatients
- Admission and discharge clerking, neurological assessments
- Maintain accurate patient records and discharge summaries
- Ensure timely patient investigations (MRI, EEG, neuropsych, etc.)
- First point of contact for on-call queries
