We are seeking experienced Paediatric Dietitian’s to join the Barts Health Staff Bank to work across all Barts Health Sites.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic locum dietitian with energy and drive, to join our team.
We are part of the largest NHS acute trust in England, with one of the busiest Paediatric Services in London. We have 22 Paediatric Dietitians who work across 4 sites and provide tertiary paediatric services including Surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, Gastroenterology, Allergy, Neonatology, Neurology, Diabetes and PICU. We have a diverse cultural and ethnic population and cover both affluent as well as socially-deprived areas.
This post is based at Whipps Cross and Newham University Hospitals.
Whipps Cross hospital – 3 days per week and Newham University Hospital - 2 days per week
You will work as an integral member of these well-established Paediatric teams both have a Paediatric ward, Neonatal ward and dedicated Paediatric outpatient services.
You will ideally have at least 3 years of clinical dietetic experience. Paediatric acute experience is essential, experience working within HETF and neonates is desirable. You must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
We have a well-established programme of quality improvement and research, and fully encourage CPD. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career within Paediatrics.

Required for role:
- BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Significant experience- over 1 year in acute paediatrics.
- Paediatric Dietetics Training
- HPC registered
- In-depth knowledge in nutrition support and paediatrics
